"Continuing in the Faith" Colossians 1:21-23

Paul reminds the Colossian church that they were once separated from God but are now reconciled through Jesus Christ. Because of this new identity, believers are called to remain steadfast in faith, even during hardship. Paul teaches that perseverance is part of God’s purpose for their lives and requires trusting Him fully rather than living cautiously or fearfully. To overcome worry and fear, believers must surrender control to God—placing their futures, plans, and anxieties in His hands. True freedom and victory come through humility, faith, and recognizing God’s sovereignty. When believers trust God completely, He is able to work His will, bringing deliverance, blessing, and spiritual growth.
